COPCKIT ROVAL ALPINIST: EXCELLENT WEIGHT AND EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE

We present the weight on scale of the new handlebar from the Specialized components brand. We have had the opportunity to weigh it in measurements of 420mm width and 100mm stem length. The final weight, including the stem tightening screws, was 260 grams, slightly higher than what brand declared (255 grams for a 420mm width and 110mm stem length).

Although it's possible to mount it on virtually any road bike, the best partner for such a copckit is the Specialized Aethos, for consistency, aesthetics, and approach.

260 grams is an excellent weight for a "generalist" brand component. In addition, Roval is so convinced of its robustness that it marks a high 109 kg weight cyclist limit and offers a lifetime guarantee.

We have been able to share opinions with its lucky owner, who has told us that the handlebar offers remarkable rigidity and, obviously, excellent aesthetics. As the only negative point, it stands out to us that the tubes can be somewhat narrow for cyclists with large hands.
